Dr. med. Annette Schumann

Annette Schumann is a specialist in ophthalmology with more than three decades of clinical experience. After studying medicine and completing her doctorate at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg), she gained her specialist title in 1995 at the university's eye hospital. Five years at the Poliklinik Reil in Halle (Saale) followed, then twelve years in her own practice in Merseburg and several years as a specialist in a group practice in Neuss; most recently she worked as a senior physician at the Pallas Kliniken in Langenthal. Her particular interest is integrative ophthalmology — and paediatric eye care: the careful, patient examination of our youngest patients.
