Dano Bollier works at the intersection of medicine, strategy and organisation. As Head of Business Operations of Sehklinik he develops clinic structures built around high-quality diagnostics, operational excellence and personal patient care — creating the conditions that let the physicians concentrate on their clinical work. His focus areas are building and developing the physician team, the operational processes of ophthalmology, digitalisation and quality management.
Before he moved into ophthalmology he worked in banking, consulting and audit from 2007 to 2025 — at UBS and Credit Suisse, at EY, close to six years in audit at PwC Switzerland and most recently as Senior Consolidation Specialist at TX Group. He is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Arts in Accounting & Finance from the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and a Bachelor of Arts in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich.

An eye clinic with three sites is also a business: appointments, the flow between consultation, diagnostics and the operating theatre, staff, systems, numbers. Dano Bollier's job is to organise that business so that it keeps the physicians' backs free — strategy, organisation and clinic development, together with building and developing the physician team. He brings the eye for it from another field: someone who has audited financial statements and then spent years in group accounting is used to thinking processes through to the end and making quality measurable. That is exactly what he brings to Sehklinik — in digitalisation as much as in quality management.
