PD Dr. med. Dietlind Friedrich

Dietlind Friedrich is an experienced ophthalmologist and eye surgeon with particular expertise in paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and strabismus. Her focus is the conservative and surgical treatment of eye-movement disorders and squint. She completed her specialist training at the Universitäts-Augenklinik Kiel (Kiel University Eye Hospital) and then worked for several years at the Universitätsklinik Hamburg-Eppendorf (Hamburg-Eppendorf University Hospital). After returning to Kiel she served as senior physician and deputy head of the orthoptics department, and completed her Habilitation with a teaching appointment under Prof. W. de Decker. As a Privatdozentin she taught for many years at the eye clinic of the Medizinische Hochschule Lübeck (Lübeck Medical School).
