Withdraw consent

How to withdraw

Write to info@sehklinik.ch from the email address you gave your consent with, or call us. We do not need a reason. We will confirm the withdrawal to you.

We ask for the address you consented with because otherwise we cannot check who is declaring the withdrawal. A form that accepted any address typed into it, unchecked, could be used by someone else to withdraw on your behalf — which is why you will not find one here.

What withdrawing does

From the moment you withdraw, we stop processing your data for that purpose. What happened before then on the basis of your consent remains lawful — a withdrawal takes effect for the future, not retrospectively.

You can withdraw each purpose on its own. If you agreed both to receiving your result by email and to analysis of how the website is used, you can withdraw one and leave the other in place. Just tell us which one you mean.

A withdrawal does not reach data we have to keep for another reason — treatment records subject to statutory retention periods, for instance. We will tell you which those are in your case on request.

Asking for deletion

Separately from withdrawing, you can ask what data we process about you and ask for it to be deleted. A message to info@sehklinik.ch is enough for that too.
